Belagavi
An eight-year-old boy died in an accident and the car driver who caused his death came to the police station and surrendered. The incident took place in Naganoor village of Mudalagi taluk in the district.
The dead boy is Vinay LakshmanaKenchannavar (8) of Naganoor village in Mudalagi taluk. A boy who was walking on the road near Morarji Residential School in Naganoor village was hit by a car. The driver brought the seriously injured boy to a private hospital in his own vehicle. The private hospital doctor who examined the boy declared him dead.
The accident took place when DevappaArjunaYallatti, a car driver of Alakanur village, was going towards Gokak in his Duster car. Currently, the dead body of the boy is in the Gokak Government Hospital, and the family members are crying. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Moodlegi police station.
