Driver Trapped In Overturned Bullet Tanker, Traffic Diversion Due To Accident

The incident took place near Samudravalli on the outskirts of Hassan where the police and firemen rescued the driver who was trapped in a bullet tanker full of LPG which had overturned on the national highway.
A gas tanker from Mangalore to Bangalore overturned on National Highway 75 near Samudravalli. The driver, who was stuck in the driving seat for some time. Police and fire brigade personnel arrived at the spot and took up rescue work.
Traffic on the highway was disrupted for some time due to the incident. The police have cleared the gas tanker and a case has been registered at Extension Police station.
