An incident took place at Boliyaru near Mudipu on Sunday night, after a group of 20-25 people stabbed two people after the victory celebrations that followed the inauguration of PM Modi. Innoli residents Harish (41) and Nandakumar (24) were stabbed. Krishna Kumar, a resident of Innoli, was assaulted.
Modi was sworn in as Prime Minister on Sunday. In this background, a victory ceremony was held in Boliyar. At this time, it is said that three BJP workers shouted some slogans. Later, when the victory procession proceeded, a group of enraged youths followed on some bikes and started a fight and committed the act, police said.
There was an altercation between the two teams. There, a group of youths beat up three and stabbed two. One of them escaped unharmed. The police informed that the surgery was performed at Hegde Hospital. A case has been registered in Konaje police station.
