Hugh Jackman, who is known for his roles in ‘Van Helsing’, ‘Prisoners’, ‘Les Miserables’, among others, talked about the challenges of reprising his role as Wolverine in the upcoming ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ film. Jackman said that when he came back to it, it was really fun and thrilling. His body was a little sore at the beginning, but was still responding. He also said that this was good for his brain. But, he said that the hardest bit was food, adding that he has always had trouble bulking up.
He further added that he has to eat a lot, because he has a naturally skinny body type, and that is the hardest bit. That is the bit that does my head in, he added. Earlier, Ryan Reynolds said he could not believe the physicality he saw from Jackman.
The sheer relentlessness dedicated towards stunts and choreography was noted by Ryan Reynolds. He expressed that it was the first time he had ever seen the invaluable nature of a background in song and dance when doing an action movie. It was mentioned that marks were hit in fight scenes with speed and confidence, the likes of which had never been seen before. Reynolds added that regardless of age, lightning was observed. He further added that watching what appeared to be a clinic on stunt work was one of the most impressive things he had ever seen in his life. ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’ hits theaters on July 26.
