BCM Hostel Student Ranks Fifth In Second PUC Exams

Gangavva Sunadholli, a student at the Post-Matric Girls’ Hostel in Munavalli, Savadatti taluk, achieved the fifth rank statewide in the Second PUC Examinations in Arts by scoring 592 out of 600 marks (90%). According to K Shivpriya Kadechur, District Backward Classes’ Welfare Officer, 1,804 students from hostels under the Backward Classes Welfare Department across various taluks in the district took the exams. Among them, 306 students scored over 90 percent, and 508 students scored more than 80 percent.

A total of 1,741 students (96.5 percent) passed the examination. Despite staying in a backward classes hostel, Gangavva excelled in the exams, bringing pride to the department and the district by securing the fifth rank. Deputy Commissioner Nitesh Patil and Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Rahul Shinde have also extended their congratulations to Gangavva.
