Darshan, a versatile actor known for always supporting new talents, has released the album song ‘Jaaji’. Despite suffering from an injury, Darshan attended the event to encourage Kannada talent. Prominent personalities like MLA Satish Reddy, producer Shailaja Nag, and music director V. Harikrishna were present at the ceremony.
Former Deputy Mayor Mohan Raju and B. Sunita Mohan Raju’s daughter Jaaji has acted in the album song. The song is also titled ‘Jaaji’.
The lyrics are written by Harshit Gowda, and the music is composed by V. Harikrishna. Kumar handled the cinematography, Mohan directed the choreography, Aishwarya Rangarajan sang, and Jaaji acted in the music song, which is released on the D Beats YouTube channel.
During the song release, Darshan spoke and said, “My friend Mohan Raju shared with me about his daughter learning dance. Hearing her name as “Jaaji” surprised me. I was even more surprised when I found out his son’s name “Jaana”. The song itself tells how good Jaaji’s dance is. Shailaja Nag and V. Harikrishna have released this song. Let’s all encourage this young talent.”
Expressing his gratitude, Sunitha Mohan Raju said, “My father, D. Boregowda, a popular theatre personality had a dream that my daughter should become an artist. Today, that dream has come true. Darshan has encouraged her, and her talent is indeed her blessing. Her responsibility has increased now.
Jaaji said, “I have been learning dance for two years now, all because of my grandfather. Today, I have learned four types of dances as per his desire. I have tried to display various styles of dance in this song. I didn’t even dream that Darshan sir would release my first song. I thank him, my parents, and the entire team.”
