A popular bull bred by Haveri’s uncle named Doddathalwara died on Saturday night. For decades, it competed in the cow-stinging competitions of the district and surrounding districts and won many prizes.
Kobbari Hori was about 18 years old. In 2011, Chikkappa Doddatalawara had bought this bull.Ā During December 7, 2023, the birthday was celebrated in a grand manner at Nagendranammati. As the bull passed away, the family members of Chikkappa Doddathalwara are saddened by the loss of their family member.
Thousands of fans came and paid their last respects when the news of his death came to light. He garlanded the dead body of the bull and held a final procession.
The procession started from Nagendranammathi and passed through APMC and main streets.Ā The tractor carrying the dead bull was decorated with flowers and balloons.
Later, the boys of Ā Sindagi Math Ā Ā performed the final rites at Nagendranamati.Speaking on the occasion, the owner of the bull Chikkappa Doddatalawara said, after this bull came, the image of our house has changed. It was like a member of the house. First, it was allowed to drive a cart. Then it was allowed to compete in cow-bullying.
