Chief Minister Siddaramaiah raised concerns at a large meeting for Chitradurga Lok Sabha candidate Chandrappa regarding the origin of funds for Operation Kamala, which he alleged were obtained by Mr. Modi as demanded. The source of the money used to offer crores to Congress and other party legislators was questioned. Siddaramaiah questioned whether the funds came from black money and referred to the Prime Minister’s promise of bringing back black money from abroad and providing Rs 15 lakh to every Indian family.
He also raised concerns about the failure to double farmers’ income and create 2 crore jobs annually as promised. Siddaramaiah further questioned whether Modi would ensure low prices for petrol, diesel, cooking gas, fertilizer, oil, and pulses. Highlighting the implementation of five guarantees by the Congress government, aimed at alleviating the financial burden on families and increasing their purchasing power, Siddaramaiah pointed out their efforts. Ministers Satish Jarakiholi, Dr D Sudhakar, Lok Sabha candidate Chandrappa, Delhi Special Representative TB Jayachandra, along with other officials, were present at the meeting.
