The farmers will condemn the violence against the farmers and protest will be organised by the Farmers’ Association on February 16 at Hanur Town, said District Vice President of State Farmers’ Association Goude Gowda.
Peaceful protest is the fundamental right of every citizen of the country in the democratic system of our country, but in order to suppress the struggle of the farmers, the Police and armed security forces have been deployed on our farmers, and the brutal acts of lathis, rubber bullets, tear gas, etc. Goude Gowda said that the State Farmers’ Association condemns the violence and decided to stage a protest by blocking the road in Hanur town on Friday. He requested that all the farmers of the district have to participate and support the protest.
