The office is located in Minsk Square near Chinnaswamy Stadium, a prime area in Bengaluru. This new facility is expected to accommodate approximately 1200 employees who will be engaged in various functions, including software development, hardware innovation, customer service, and more. The location was chosen for its proximity to important landmarks such as Vidhansouda, High Court, and Central Library, making it easily accessible for employees. The Cubbon Park metro station nearby also provides convenient public transportation options. Expressing excitement about the expansion, an Apple spokesperson stated, We are thrilled to open a new office in the heart of Bangalore. Bengaluru is a dynamic city that houses our talented team of employees and various technology companies. This is an excellent space for our new innovations, activities, and connections. The 15-storey office boasts spacious lab areas and is constructed using locally available materials like granite and timber. Apple remains committed to environmental sustainability, adhering to carbon-neutral standards. The office design incorporates eco-friendly elements, achieving a Platinum rating for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). The use of 100% renewable energy sources underscores Apple’s dedication to environmentally conscious practices in its operations.
