I will not leave the Congress and join the BJP for any reason. I don’t need to meet Eshwarappa. I haven’t met him yet. Former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar said that Eshwarappa is confusing those who leave the party.
Speaking to the media in the city, he said, KS Eshwarappa couldn’t even give me the ticket. He also said that he did not get a ticket. I have come out of the humiliation in the BJP. I have come out because my self-respect has been hurt. Eshwarappa’s self-respect would have been hurt. The BJP is no longer a party of Advani and Vajpayee’s time. Eshwarappa should stop talking about ideology, he said.
Karnataka BJP cannot be saved. Everybody is talking differently day by dy.  The BJP will not be able to repair. They have given money to defeat the BJP. He was blackmailed. Why don’t BS Yediyurappa and Basavaraj Bommai speak about it? He alleged that he was denied a ticket for personal interest. There is no question of me leaving the Congress and going to the BJP, Jagadeesh Shettar said.
