Bengaluru witnessed a vibrant start to the Nama Jatre Janpada Sambharam, a cultural extravaganza marking Karnataka Celebration-50, as Chief Minister Siddaramaiah inaugurated the grand procession. Organized by the Department of Kannada and Culture, this event unfolded near the majestic steps of Vidhan Soudha, symbolizing the spirit of Unboxing Bangalore. Joining Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at this auspicious inauguration were Minister for Backward Classes Welfare and Kannada and Culture, Shivraj Thangadagi, Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Naseer Ahmad, Chief Secretary Rajneesh Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner Shalini Rajneesh, Principal Secretary of the Kannada and Culture Department, Manjula, Director Dharani Devi Malagatti, along with esteemed personalities from the film industry such as Sadhu Kokila and Pooja Gandhi, among other dignitaries. The procession kickstarted a jubilant celebration, signifying the rich cultural heritage and essence of Karnataka.
