Taapsee Pannu starts filming action-thriller Gandhari

Taapsee Pannu has begun shooting for her upcoming action-thriller Gandhari, directed by Devashish Makhija and produced by Kanika Dhillon. She shared the news on Instagram with behind-the-scenes pictures from the set.

In the photos, Taapsee is seen dressed as a village woman with her back to the camera, posing alongside Makhija and Dhillon. Her caption read, Dear God, grant my request so that I may never deviate from doing good deeds... Let the war begin! Gandhari, reflecting the intense theme of the film.

Taapsee’s last release, Khel Khel Mein, co-starring Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, and Ammy Virk, faced tough competition at the box office against Stree 2. Though the film didn’t perform well, her recent Netflix release, Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba, earned her critical acclaim. Co-starring Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal, the romantic thriller premiered on August 9 and was widely appreciated.

Gandhari adds another exciting project to Taapsee’s diverse filmography, promising a gripping narrative and a strong performance.
