Tottenham Hotspur legends Ledley King and Ossie Ardiles are set to visit India to support a series of events and activities organized by the club. The visit aims to engage with fans and promote grassroots football development. The former club captain, Ledley King, and 1978 World Cup-winner, Ossie Ardiles, will arrive in Mumbai on Friday. They will attend a watch party for Tottenham Hotspur’s Premier League match against Aston Villa on Sunday at Dublin Square, Phoenix Market City. During their Mumbai visit, the legends will participate in a cultural city tour and charitable engagements. They will then head to Bengaluru on Monday, where they will appear at a Legends evening with Spurs fans and attend the Indian Super League match between Bengaluru FC and Punjab FC at Sri Kanteerava Stadium on November 30. Throughout their week-long visit to India, Tottenham Hotspur’s Global Football Coaching team will collaborate with local organizations to deliver training programs for young players. The goal is to develop the game at the grassroots level in India. This includes a bespoke session in partnership with the OSCAR Foundation, a community-based organization using football to encourage children to stay in school and equip them with skills for the future. Ledley King expressed his excitement about the visit, highlighting the strong fanbase, passion for football, and the cultural experience awaiting him in India. Ossie Ardiles, returning to India for the second time in five years, emphasized his anticipation for meeting passionate fans in Mumbai and Bengaluru.
