Ahimsa Chetan Stresses On Constitutional Enforcement For Social Equality

Prominent thinker and film actor Ahimsa Chetan voiced concerns about the absence of enforced social equality, warning against the perils of overlooking societal inequities, which often result in inhumane events. He emphasized the urgent need for constitutional enforcement to prevent abnormal societal processes. At the vibrant Dashamanotsava and Children’s Festival held at Rangandira of Panchajanya Vidyapeeth, Basaveshwar Nagar, Bangalore, the Sukhanksha Charitable Trust (R) marked its presence as the chief guest. The occasion witnessed the unveiling of the trust’s commemorative book, Sukhanksha Meluku. Highlighting the imperative role of social organizations in addressing societal imbalances, Sukhanksha celebrated its ten years of progressive contributions, recognizing that societal inequalities often mirror existing imbalances. The memoir, Sukhanksha Meluku, encapsulates a decade’s worth of transformative literature. The event was presided over by former Deputy Mayor of BBMP, K, who commended the celebration of the children’s festival through a series of meaningful events. These events included the release of the commemorative issue, a health camp, a folk mela, musical performances, and stage rehearsals, all in honor of the organization’s decade-long journey. Esteemed personalities including KPCC Rajajinagar Block Congress President T.N. Radhakrishna, renowned folk singer S. Ven. Purnima, President G. Yashoda, Secretary PB Jjanendra Kumar, and others graced the occasion. The festival, marking the tenth anniversary, resonated with cultural fervor as renowned music director V. Manohar introduced the progressive thinker, Dr. C.S. Dwarkanath. The event witnessed folk singer Appagere Thimmaraju enthralling the audience with his soulful folk renditions, transforming the festival into a vibrant cultural celebration. Actor Rakshideep Prasad inaugurated Hassan’s Pujaraghunandan’s poignant one-man play, while representatives from the Rotary organization, literary figures, donors, and members of the Kannada Culture Department’s Dollukunitha team added prestige to the event. The evening was graced by the presence of Kaladegula Srinivas and p. b. Shatendra, enriching the event with their insightful narratives.
