Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara has said that the police department has been instructed to remain on alert along the Karnataka border in the wake of the deadly blasts in Kerala.
Speaking to media persons in the city, he said the Director General and Inspector General have been instructed to remain on alert at the border. Security and surveillance will also be beefed up along the Kerala border. Security has been beefed up in Mysuru, Kodagu and Mangaluru in the wake of threats during Dasara. We have taken whatever action had to be taken, he said.
