The problem in Belagavi politics is on the rise again. If the problem starts in Belagavi, the governments will fall. A similar symptom is still visible. The battle of Mahabharata has not stopped for once. Similarly, there is a cold war going on in Belagavi politics. I don’t know when it will happen, former Minister and MLA Munirathna said in a veiled reference to the collapse of the Congress government.

Addressing a press conference at his office, he said, Politics has started again in Belagavi. Earlier, the coalition government collapsed due to Belagavi politics and whenever politics starts in Belagavi, governments are in danger. Now, just as Cauvery water is overflowing, the infighting in Belagavi Congress is overflowing. In the past, the coalition government had collapsed in a similar manner. An identical  situation has started in the present government. It will end in Bengaluru,” he said.

Rs 126 crore allotted to my constituency has been withdrawn. The funds of my constituency have been transferred to other areas. How will they give our funds to other sectors. The Deputy Chief Minister had asked for a list of works. I have submitted the details they have asked for. I am confident that the funds of my constituency will come back and there is no question of giving money to our constituency. If they don’t give me the grant, I will tell you what to do next. If the funds are not returned, we will not protest again or hold his feet, he said.

People have given 135 seats to Congress,  Munirathna said on the issue of Deputy Chief Minister’s allegation on Operation Kamala. So let them govern peacefully. Give good government. We have no plans to induct Congress MLAs.
