After a positive response last year, the ‘Mangaluru Dasara Darshan’ package by KSRTC Mangaluru Division will return from October 15 this year, according to divisional controller Rajesh Shetty. The package offers four options with varying prices compared to the previous year, Mangaluru Dasara Darshan – Adult: Rs 400 (non-AC) or Rs 500 (AC), Children (age 6-12): Rs 300 (non-AC) or Rs 400 (AC). This package includes visits to several temples, lunch, and snacks. Mangaluru-Kollur tour package – Adult: Rs 500, Children: Rs 400. It covers temples and lunch in Kollur. Mangaluru-Madikeri tour package – Adult: Rs 500, Children: Rs 400. This package includes a tour of Madikeri and its attractions. Newly-added Panchadurga Darshan tour package (rate not yet decided) – This package covers multiple temples in different locations. The ‘Dasara Darshan’ package was well-received last year, attracting tourists and locals alike. The division intends to extend the package up to October 30 if the response remains positive.
