Anger Index Reveals Electoral Dynamics In States

Must read

New Delhi

The CVoter Anger Index, which gauges the electoral dynamics in poll-bound Indian states, has revealed interesting trends. In Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, the sitting Chief Ministers are leading in terms of personal popularity. However, they face significant challenges due to the unpopularity of their sitting MLAs. This suggests that people in these states want to retain their leadership but are inclined to change their elected MLAs. Conversely, in Rajasthan and Telangana, the scenario is reversed. The Anger Index indicates that anger is more concentrated at the top of the political pyramid in these states. While the approval ratings of Chief Ministers in Rajasthan and Telangana lag behind those of their governments and sitting MLAs, it appears that voters in these states are willing to maintain their current MLAs but desire a change in leadership.
