Hubballi
A blood donation camp held in Hubballi collected 75 units of blood, which is expected to benefit around 175 patients. The camp was organised by Adhirathas Intern Batch 2020 in memory of Dr. Shivaraj Arakeri and was supported by KIMS Blood Bank as part of efforts to address blood shortage during the hot season. Officials said fewer donors have been coming forward recently, increasing demand. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Eshwar Hosamani, Director of KIMS. Organisers said the initiative turned grief into social service, and praised the young doctors for their humanitarian effort under guidance of Kavitha and team.
