A 45-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the 13th floor of an apartment in the Sampigehalli police station limits. The deceased, identified as Vivekananda, had reportedly gone to view a flat in the building before taking the extreme step. Police said he had borrowed large sums of money and was under pressure from lenders to repay the loans. Family members have also alleged harassment during questioning by CCB police in connection with a complaint against him. Sampigehalli police have registered a case and are investigating further.
