A 33-year-old man died after being hit by a local train at Ghatkopar railway station, officials said. The deceased, Narendra Mandre, a resident of Bhatwadi, was struck by an Up fast air-conditioned train on platform 4 on March 27. He was taken to Rajawadi Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The Kurla Government Railway Police have registered a case of accidental death and started an investigation. Police are checking how the victim came onto the tracks at the time of the incident.
