The Municipal Corporation will host a grievance event with departmental stalls, direct officials, and IPGRS-based complaint tracking
Tumakuru
In an effort to address long-standing public issues, Home and District In-charge Minister Dr. A.K. Ramachandran will hold a district-level Janatha Darshan programme in Tumakuru on April 4 at 11 am. The event aims to provide on-the-spot solutions to the problems of citizens across the district.
Deputy Commissioner Shubha Kalyan said the programme will be chaired by her office and is a follow-up to successful taluk-level Janatha Darshan events, where several public grievances were resolved immediately. “We are making efforts to address complex issues that have been pending for years,” she said, inviting the public to attend in large numbers.
The venue will be the premises of the Municipal Corporation, with a grand platform set up in front of the statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Stalls representing ten key departments will be opened to receive complaints and provide relief on the spot. Heads of the concerned departments will be present to respond directly to citizens’ issues.
To ensure smooth grievance registration and tracking, a temporary data entry outlet will be set up using IPGRS software and computer systems. Officials have been directed to discharge their duties diligently, leaving no lapse in public service during the event.
The administration has assured that all necessary arrangements will be made for the convenience of people traveling from different parts of the district. Citizens are encouraged to bring their concerns and participate actively, taking advantage of the opportunity to have their grievances heard directly by the minister and senior officials.
The Janatha Darshan programme reflects the government’s push for transparent governance and citizen-centric problem-solving. With a focus on timely relief and practical solutions, residents hope that years-old issues, from civic services to development projects, will finally find answers. Authorities have emphasized that the success of the event depends on the participation of the public, who are urged to attend and make their voices heard.
