Raj B. Shetty Applauds Prajwal’s ‘Karavali’ Filmed in Bengaluru

Prajwal Devaraj is all set to appear in his upcoming film Karavali, a project that promises a fresh and different story for Kannada audiences. Recently, a special sequence of the movie was filmed on the outskirts of Bengaluru. The shoot saw the presence of lead pair Prajwal Devaraj and Sampada, along with actors Mitra, Sridhar, and director Ravi Gaaniga. During the schedule, Prajwal opened up about his journey and experiences while working on the film.

He shared that almost 99% of Karavali was shot in the coastal belt, with only a single scene being filmed in Bengaluru. Talking about his role, he admitted it was one of the toughest in his career, both physically and mentally. The shoot involved many challenges, including injuries, cuts, and breaks, but he continued with determination. Prajwal also revealed a personal memory—his mother, who usually visited him on set, could not join this time due to health issues. Wanting to share the film with her, he took a few clips home, which left her surprised and proud. Her words of appreciation meant the world to me, he said.

Prajwal added that preparing for such a layered role required time and effort. He also spoke highly of co-star Raj B. Shetty, praising his love for cinema and the positive energy he brings. According to Prajwal, Karavali has been made mainly for Kannada viewers, though the team may think of releasing it in other languages later if there is demand.

The cast and crew described the making of the film as a memorable experience. With shooting wrapped up, Karavali is now expected to hit theatres by the end of this year.
