The muhurat ceremony for the film Bhaira took place in a grand way at the Panchamukhi Ganapati Temple. Popular actor Prem gave the first clap and wished the team well. Mahesh Sidhu, known for Goolihatti and Saaguta Saaguta Doora Doora, plays the lead role after a break.
Akul, a choreographer for over 200 films, has written the story and will direct action scenes. Amit Poojary is producing under Khushi Kanasu Creations, along with Ashok DDN.
Mahesh Sidhu plays a talented cloth-maker. Actress Shwetha Surendra plays a market girl. Supporting roles are played by Jack Jalijali, Yashshetta, Ravikale, Vardhan, and others.
The director shared that the film shows how local rowdies in Bangalore misuse an innocent boy for their selfish goals. It also features a touching mother-son bond and a sweet love story. Expect four big fight scenes since Mahesh is skilled in stunts. Filming will take place in Bangalore, mainly in Kalasipalya and Okalipur.
Music is by Manju Mahadev, with lyrics by Bharjari Chetan, Anirudh Shastri, and Nagarjuna Sharma. Cinematography is by S. Halesh, editing by K.M. Prakash, and action by Vikrammore-Vinod. Shooting begins next week.
