Nada Prabhu Kempegowda Jayanti Celebration, Jyoti Jatha From 5 Sides To Vidhansouda

The new Congress government has decided to celebrate Nada Prabhu Kempegowda Jayanti in a grand manner, and processions are being held from 5 parts of the city to Vidhansauda with torches. This jatha will be headed by five ministers. Kempegowda Jayanti pre-meeting was held at Vidhansauda on Thursday under the leadership of DCM DK Shivakumar. Ministers Krishna Byre Gowda, Ramalinga Reddy and leaders of various organizations participated in this meeting.
Speaking after the meeting, DCM DK Shivakumar said that the Kannada and Culture Department has issued instructions for the compulsory celebration of the Kempegowda Jayanti program at the state level on June 27 in all the taluks of the state. A torch-carrying procession will be held from 5 parts of the city, including Magadi Yalahanka, Kempambudi Kere Lal Bagh, to Vidhana Soudha. He informed that five ministers will lead this. The minister will inaugurate the procession which will start at 9 am. The procession will arrive at the Kempegowda statue in front of Vidhana Soudha at 12 noon. He said that the state level program will be held in the banquet hall after 12 noon.
Kempegowda Day will be held in BBMP like every year after the government program. This time too there are no elected representatives in the city. An award ceremony and cultural program will be organized by BBMP on July 9. 198 achievers will be selected for BBMP ward level award. A committee will be formed to select the candidates. He said that it is our intention to give awards to the achievers of all castes and religions.
