Don’t Pay Electricity Bill, Women Don’t Take Bus Tickets, Kota Srinivas Poojary

The people of the state should not pay 200 units of electricity bill by relying on the chief minister’s word. If you spend more than that, pay the bill. Do not take a bus ticket for those who are like women. Give Rs 3,000 to unemployed youth. Otherwise, the BJP will stand in front of you and try to get justice, said former Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary.

Speaking to media persons at Vidhana Soudha, he said, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced five guarantees in Karnataka. Everyone, including me, was told 200 units of electricity free. He said 1.5 crore families in Karnataka should get this scheme and no one should pay for 200 units of electricity for it.

Let the unemployed graduates get Rs 3000 per month, in the same way 10 kgs of Rice will be given to the beneficiaries, as promised by them. The owner of the house will get Rs 2,000 per month for the Griha Lakshmi scheme.   He had announced a free quantity for all women in the KSRTC bus. Accordingly, from June onwards, women will have to travel without getting a bus ticket.

Ahead of the assembly elections, Congress leaders had announced five guaranteed schemes in their manifestos. He had also promised that these five schemes would be implemented as soon as he came to power.

 : The government has given in-principle approval for the implementation of five guarantee schemes as decided in the new cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. In the first cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, in-principle approval was given for the implementation of all the five guaranteed schemes given by the Congress.
