The Super Fast Express passenger train running between Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur to Bangalore and Bengaluru to Jabalpur will no longer have sleeper coach AC coaches, i.e A bogies. The South Western Railway said that it has been canceled with effect from 8th April. In this regard, South Western Railway Department Public Relations Officer Anish Hegde has issued an announcement. Hitherto passenger trains running between these two cities (Train No. 12194/12193) have an air-conditioned sleeper coach carriage. But, After 8, that bogie will not exist. Instead, an air-conditioned third class (AC three-tier economy coach) will be fitted, the announcement said. From 8, the train leaving from Jabalpur towards Yeswantpur in Bangalore and on April 9th, the train leaving from Yeshwantpur to Jabalpur will have AC in both. There will be no sleeper coach. The announcement said that the order to cancel this bogie will come into effect on the same day. Also, the facility of newly fitted sleeper class economy coaches will be permanent in trains plying between these cities, the release said. The South Western Railway Department has announced that the temporary halt for one minute at Carmelaram Railway Station for trains 17235 and 17236 departing from Visvesvaraya Terminal and plying between Bangalore and Nagar Koil will be extended for the next six months.
