Benny Dayal Hit By A Drone During Live Concert

Must read

Popular singer Benny Dayal, who known for his songs Mudhan Mudhalai from Lesa Lesa and Arima Arima from Endhiran among many other songs in Tamil, was struck by a drone camera that was filming him during a live performance in Chennai. After having sustaining bruises due to the unfortunate incident, Benny Dayal has urged all fellow artistes to add a clause in their contracts asking event organisers to rope in professional drone operators.
A video of the incident where Benny Dayal is hit by a drone during the concert at VIT Chennai on Friday went viral on social media. Speaking about the incident in a video, Benny Dayal said, Thank you so much for all your concern regarding the incident that happened in VIT Chennai. First and foremost, thank you VIT Chennai, you looked after me so much so well after this whole incident of the drone hitting the back my head.
For most people who dont know what happened the dron hit, the drone fans hit the back of my head and they bruised the back of my head a little bit and two of my fingers got completely bruised. But thats all fine. I think I will recover from this much more faster. Thanks to all your love and thanks to all the prayers that my parents have had for me over the years, he added.
Urging all fellow artistes to add a clause in their contracts asking event organisers to rope in professional drone operators, Beeny Dayal said, I just want to express three things. One things is that, definitely all artistes from here on make sure you have a clause in you technical writer saying that the drone cannot come that close to any artist while they are performing, because your movement and their movement cannot be coordinated unless and until you have a person who is specifically working with you on drones.
Second thing, Please all colleges, companies, show or event organisers, get a certified drone operator because its very dangerous. The person should be certified to operate a drone. And third, most drone operators, I just want to tell you one thing. We are all artistes. We are just singing on stage. We are not Vijay or Ajith or Salman Khan or Prabhas or some action hero. You dont have to do all these stunts. Just do a regular show. We just want the shot to look nice and it shouldnt come so close and hurt the artist, he concluded.
