The event was jointly conducted by cooperative organizations including the State Cooperative Federation, Basaveshwara Cooperative Union, and the Cooperative Bharati Taluk unit, along with the cooperation department and various cooperative societies.

Speaking at the inauguration, Raghavendra said that cooperative principles are an essential part of life and help in promoting collective growth and social harmony. He noted that cooperative institutions have been playing a crucial role in supporting farmers and providing essential services in rural areas, thereby contributing to economic stability.

He emphasized that the cooperative sector is not limited to financial transactions alone but extends to improving the overall well-being of society. According to him, adopting cooperative values in daily life can help build a healthier and more progressive community based on mutual support and development.

The MP also stressed the importance of health awareness, stating that maintaining good health is essential for productivity and achievement. He appreciated initiatives like free health camps, which provide essential medical services to both rural and urban populations, helping bridge gaps in healthcare access.

During the camp, a team of medical professionals conducted screenings for blood pressure, diabetes, heart-related conditions, eye problems, and general health issues. Free medicines were also distributed to participants. More than 500 people benefited from the camp.

Doctors from Narayana Hrudayalaya, a government hospital medical team, and administrative health officers participated in the program. Cooperative leaders and representatives from various institutions were also present at the event, supporting the initiative aimed at community welfare and rural health improvement.
