Kalaburagi
A lightning strike at Wazirgaon village in Kalagi taluk of Kalaburagi district left a woman critically injured and killed six sheep. The victim, identified as Rasheeda Begum (48), was grazing sheep when the incident occurred. She was rushed to Kalagi hospital and later advised for transfer to Kalaburagi district hospital for advanced treatment. Family members said she has been unable to speak after sustaining severe injuries. Six sheep belonging to Ravi Poojari died on the spot. Relatives alleged delay in ambulance service, claiming help did not arrive on time despite repeated calls for emergency medical assistance.
