Kalaburagi
In Kalaburagi, the body of a minor girl who allegedly died by suicide on April 23 was exhumed in Kamalapur limits for post-mortem after 25 days. Her father had found her hanging at home, and the family initially believed it was due to school fee-related issues and performed funeral rites the same day. Later, entries in her notebook and Instagram reportedly indicated harassment and a relationship issue involving a youth named Umesh Ashok Tadolagi. Following a complaint by the mother at Kamalapur Police Station on April 27, a case was registered and police initiated investigation. The exhumation and post-mortem were conducted under the supervision of revenue and health officials police.
