Rajinikanth’s upcoming sequel Jailer 2 is one of the most awaited films in Indian cinema right now. After the record-breaking success of the first part, which collected over ₹600 crore, expectations are sky-high. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the film is said to be packed with action and will likely wrap up shooting by the end of this year.
A major highlight of Jailer was the cameo of Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar. His high-voltage action in the climax, especially the fight sequence using just tissue paper, became a viral sensation and left fans cheering in theatres. Following that popularity, Shiva Rajkumar has now officially joined the sequel’s shoot. A video from the sets showing him interacting with fans has further increased excitement, with audiences hoping he will once again deliver unforgettable mass moments.
The film features a star-studded cast. Along with Rajinikanth, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, and Mirna will reprise their roles. Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar, who appeared in cameos earlier, are expected to have impactful scenes again.
