Lokesh Kanagaraj to direct Salman Khan

Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj is all set to do a Hindi film with Salman Khan! The filmmaker has reportedly got an opportunity to direct a Hindi film featuring Salman Khan in the lead. A leading production house from the Telugu cinema industry is apparently backing the project and they have begun the initial discussions with the filmmaker.
The official announcement regarding the film is expected to be made once the final settlements are done, and the film will take some time to roll as Lokesh Kanagaraj has some prior commitments.
Lokesh Kanagaraj will be next directing Vijays 67th film, and the director is currently involved in the pre-production work of the film. The official announcement of the film is also awaited. The film is tentatively titled Thalapathy 67, and is expected to start rolling in October. The film will be Lokesh Kanagarajs second project with Vijay after Master and the Vijay starrer is reported to be a gangster drama set in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj has become one of the most successful directors in South cinema, thanks to his back-to-back blockbusters including the recent Vikram featuring Kamal Haasan in the lead.
