‘Sayanna Varthakal’ Trailer: Ravi Kumar Goes Off-Topic

Must read

Gokul Suresh and Dhyan Sreenivasan’s long-delayed film Sayanna Varthakal is finally heading to the cinemas, and the makers have launched a trailer to grab the attention of the cinephiles. The teaser features Gokul Suresh as Ravi Kumar, who has apparently joined as a temporary teacher for the Bharath skills program, as all other teachers are on a training program. From man landing in the moon for the first time to Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, Ravi Kumar goes a tad off-topic with his teaching, and that has a foregone conclusion! The latest trailer is as sarcastic as the earlier promos and you shouldn’t miss it.
Sayanna Varthakal is directed by Arun Chandu, who has previously delivered Saajan Bakery Since 1962. Though Sayanna Varthakal marks his debut project, that went on floors, the Gokul Suresh-Dhyan Sreenivasan starrer was stalled for nearly three years, due to some reason.
Written by Sachin R Chandran and Arun Chandu, the film also has Aju Varghese, Indrans, Makhrand Deshpande, Sharanya Sharma, and Anand Manmadhan among others, in some pivotal roles. Prashant Pillai and Sankar Sharma, are doing the music for the film, while the lyrics are penned by Harinarayanan, Anu Elizabeth Jose, and Sandra Madhav. The background scores are done by Sankar Sharma. Sarath Shaji is the cinematographer, and Aravind Manmadhan has roped in as the editor. Sayanna Varthakal is slated for release on June 24.
