In 2007, Shilpa participated in a UK reality show which included 14 celebrities. Battling all odds, Shilpa emerged as the ultimate winner of the show. During an interview with a news portal, Shilpa Shetty revealed why she was scared of doing an international reality show.
The actress revealed that when she saw a couple of episodes and got scared with what she saw. She said that she is not going to do all of this and her contract was kept very watertight. The actress also went on to say that she thought she would get eliminated in the second week of the reality show. The actress said that she will get eliminated in the second week. But every week she would be nominated and she would get saved.
The actress added that she won the reality show because she received a lot of support from the South Asian community in the United Kingdom (UK).
