Vidyut Jammwal joins Street Fighter reboot


Bollywood action star Vidyut Jammwal is heading to Hollywood! The actor has officially joined the cast of the upcoming Street Fighter reboot, based on the popular video game series. Vidyut shared behind-the-scenes photos from the film’s set in Sydney, Australia, posing with rapper 50 Cent and WWE superstar Cody Rhodes.

He captioned the post, “In the company of warriors, I find my tribe. #streetfighter,” exciting fans who are thrilled to see him go global.

The film is directed by Kitao Sakurai (Bad Trip) and written by Dalan Musson (The Falcon and the Winter Soldier). Vidyut will play Dhalsim, a wise monk known for his fire powers and stretchable limbs — a character that fits Vidyut’s martial arts talent perfectly.

The cast is packed with stars. David Dastmalchian plays the villain M. Bison, Callina Liang is Chun-Li, Orville Peck becomes Vega, and comedian Andrew Schulz appears as Dan Hibiki. Other big names include Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Roman Reigns, and Andrew Koji.

Though the full story is still a secret, the film promises intense action and nostalgia. With Vidyut onboard, fans can expect thrilling stunts and a fresh take on the iconic franchise.
