In a tragic incident reported from Bhalki town of Bidar district, a woman was run over by a car driven by a police constable while she was sweeping the road early in the morning.
The victim has been identified as Gyan Bai, who was engaged in routine street cleaning when the accident occurred. According to sources, the car was driven by Umakant, a police constable currently serving at Mehkar Police Station. The shocking incident took place on a public road in Bhalki and was captured on nearby CCTV cameras. The footage reportedly shows the vehicle running over the woman while she was at work.
