Police in Tiruvallur have registered a sexual harassment case against TVK candidate Prakash alias Kutty from Poonamallee. The complaint was filed by a woman party worker, who alleged that the incident took place at a wedding reception six months ago. She claimed she had earlier informed party leaders, but no action was taken.

Police have begun an investigation and recorded the complainant’s statement. Meanwhile, the accused’s wife has filed a counter-complaint, calling the charges false and politically motivated. The controversy has emerged soon after Vijay announced candidates.
