‘Premam’ director Alphonse Puthren’s upcoming film ‘Gold’ featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara in the lead roles, is moving to its final stages of post-production. In his latest tweet, Alphonse Puthren has confirmed the same and also added that the post-production works are happening in full swing.
Gold Final edit, CG works, Poster Design, Music, Sound Design works are going on in Full Swing. We all are making it for you all with love and passion 😃, Alphonse Puthren tweeted, and Prithviraj Sukumaran cheered him.
Since the post-production works will be wrapped up soon, it can be expected that the film will be hitting the big screens in the upcoming months.
‘Gold’ marks Alphonse Puthren’s third outing, after the trendsetters ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam’. The upcoming film will also mark his first outing in the last seven years. Interestingly, ‘Gold’ also marks the director’s first collaboration with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara. Also, the film will mark, Prithviraj Sukumaran’s first full-length role with superstar Nayanthara. The duo has previously made a cameo appearance in the star-studded film ‘Twenty:20’.
Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara are playing the roles of Joshi S, and Sumangali Unnikrishnan, respectively in ‘Gold’. Actors Shammi Thilakan, Mallika Sukumaran, Shanthi Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Sabumon, Chemban Vinod Jose, Baburaj, Lalu Alex, Saiju Kurup, Sudheesh, and Deepti Sati, will be seen in supporting roles in the film.
The makers had launched a teaser earlier, giving a glimpse of the lead characters, however, made sure to keep other details regarding the plot under wraps.
