Congress leaders filed another complaint at the Lakdimpuram police station on Saturday, demanding the arrest of social activist Snehamayi Krishna and pressing for action against his alleged wrongdoings.
Speaking to the media, KPCC spokesperson M Lakshman revealed that two individuals, claiming to be friends of Snehamayi Krishna, had contacted him two months ago, demanding money to close a case. Three days ago, these same two individuals reached out to me again, threatening that if I continued pressing charges against Snehamayi Krishna, they would release records implicating me, Lakshman said.
He further elaborated on the serious nature of the case, stating that a total of 44 criminal cases had been filed against Krishna in various police stations across the state, with 22 FIRs in possession of the Congress. Despite Krishna’s presence on the police rowdy-sheeter list, Lakshman claimed that no action had been taken against him by the authorities over the past three and a half years. The police need to take action against this notorious individual. We demand that an FIR be filed and the accused arrested by 10 AM on Sunday. If no action is taken, we will stage an indefinite sit-in outside the police station, Lakshman added.
Additionally, Lakshman accused Krishna of creating fake documents and making false allegations against Parvati, using forged seals. The MUDA officials have stated that we never provided such records. A thorough investigation into this matter has to be taken up, Lakshman said.
