Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s long-delayed film ‘Ram’ will reportedly resume the shoot soon. ‘Ram’ marks Mohanlal’s fourth collaboration with Jeethu Joseph after the success of the ‘Drishyam’ franchise and ‘12th Man’. As per the latest reports, Jeethu Joseph will be soon heading for location scouting and the shoot will be resumed in June, in Europe.
Previously while speaking to ETimes, Jeethu Joseph had shared that the shoot of ‘Ram’ was getting delayed due to the pandemic, as the rest of the portions for the film has foreign schedules.
Touted to be an action thriller, ‘Ram’ features Mohanlal in the lead role. The film will feature Trisha as the leading lady, and the upcoming movie also marks her second Malayalam film. If reports are to be believed, Trisha is playing the role of a doctor.
In 2019, when the film was launched, Jeethu Joseph shared that the film will be made on a massive budget compared to his other films, and also shared that the film has schedules in multiple locations including Dhanushkodi, Chennai, Delhi, Cairo, London, UK, and Colombo among others.
Mohanlal was seen sporting an impressive beard look in the first look poster of the film.
On the technical front, Satheesh Kurup has roped in as the cinematographer for ‘Ram’. VS Vinayak is the editor and Vishnu Shyam will compose the music. If the shoot resumes in June, the movie will be hitting the big screens towards the end of this year.
On the other hand, Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s latest release, ‘12th Man’, a mystery movie is receiving a massive response from the audience. The film had direct digital streaming on May 20, and has managed to meet the expectations of the audience.
