The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will host the world premiere of ‘Hisaab Barabar’, a highly anticipated film featuring R. Madhavan. Directed by Ashwni Dhir, the film is scheduled for a November 26 screening in Goa.
In ‘Hisaab Barabar’, Madhavan plays Radhe Mohan Sharma, a diligent railway ticket inspector who stumbles upon a minor error in his bank account. This seemingly small issue soon unravels into a major investigation, revealing a large-scale financial scam orchestrated by an influential banker, Micky Mehta, portrayed by Neil Nitin Mukesh. As Radhe navigates the dark world of corruption, he faces challenges not only in his fight for justice but also in understanding that relationships aren’t as simple as balancing numbers.
Kirti Kulhari also stars in the film. Director Ashwni Dhir shared his excitement about the premiere, stating, “‘Hisaab Barabar’ is more than a thriller; it’s a story of a common man’s fight for truth in a world clouded by deception. I’m proud of our collaboration with Jio Studios and SP Cinecorp, and I hope the film sparks reflection on the battle between right and wrong.”
