The title glimpse of a pan-India film starring Vasishta Simha, ‘Tribanadhari Barbarika’ which promises a blend of mythology and contemporary themes, was released this week. Shooting for the film is already complete and it is in the post-production stage now.
The new production company, Vanara Celluloid, has entered the film industry with the goal of offering audiences fresh experiences through distinctive films. Their first project, Tribandhari Barbarik, is being produced by Vijaypal Reddy Adidhala and directed by Mohan Srivatsa. Well-known director Maruthi is presenting the film, which features an impressive lineup of talented actors and technicians. Kannada actor Vasishta Simha takes on the lead role in this ambitious pan-India project.
The motion poster gives audiences a glimpse into the storyline. The film combines mythological and social elements, telling the story of Barbarika, grandson of Bhima and son of Ghatotkacha, known for his remarkable power to release three arrows simultaneously. The poster highlights the epic heroism of Barbarika, portraying him as a legendary warrior whose story remains largely untold. While it explores mythological themes, the film also incorporates modern elements, showing objects like a gun alongside ancient scriptures such as Gandiva Dhari Arjuna, Pasupatastra, Brahmastra, and Garuda Purana, indicating a fusion of the ancient and contemporary.
The cast of Tribanadhari Barbarika includes Sathyaraj, Vasishta Simha, Sanchari Rai, Satyam Rajesh, Kramati Kiran, Motta Rajendra, VTV Ganesh, and Uday Bhanu in prominent roles. With cinematography by Kushendar Ramesh Reddy, editing by Marthand Venkatesh, and art direction by Srinivas Panna, the film brings together a talented creative team. Stunt director Ram Sanker has choreographed the action sequences.
Tribanadhari Barbarika has generated high expectations with its motion poster. The film will be released as a pan-India project in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam, aiming to captivate audiences across multiple languages.
