St. Joseph’s Institute of Management (SJIM), Bangalore, observed its Twenty-Fifth Annual Convocation Ceremony on Saturday at Loyola Auditorium. Delivering the convocation address Governor Thawarchand Gehlot congratulated all the graduating students who have completed their PGDM program successfully and wished them success in their future endeavours. The Governor reminded the graduating students about the problems and challenges faced by country such as poverty, hunger, disease, unemployment, energy, water security et al and urged them to apply their learnings to overcome these challenges. The Governor concluded the convocation address by advising the graduating students to utilise their education to make our corporations more innovative, more transparent, more successful and sustainable. This year SJIM Bangalore graduated 174 students. Among which, 12 students received medals and certificates from the Governor for scoring first, second and third ranks in their respective subjects. St. Joseph Institute of Management (SJIM), one of the premier B-schools of India- located in the heart of the city, is run by Jesuits who are well known world over for imparting quality education. SJIM prides itself being the oldest business school in Karnataka having a legacy of fifty years.
