Hearing about the loss of one’s most adorable pet is really heartbreaking and the whole film industry is mourning the loss of Simba, the dog which appeared in the feel-good drama film ‘Bangalore Days’ as Nithya Menen’s character Natasha’s pet. Simba has also appeared in several Kannada films and recently the makers of the upcoming Rakshit Shetty starrer ‘777 Charlie’ bid adieu to Simba via their official Twitter handle. Simba passed away on the last day and several celebrities have now taken to their official social media handles to pay tributes to the loss of the adorable dog Simba.
The official Twitter handle of the Rakshit Shetty starrer ‘777 Charlie’ shared an image of Simba, the dog, and penned an emotional note that read, “Rest in peace Simba.” The post was soon flooded with comments from Twitterati who were all deeply saddened at the loss of Simba.
Simba is owned by Varun who hails from Basavanagudi, Bangalore. Simba was also trained by a Basavanagudi resident named Swamy at an early stage when he was just 30 days old.
Having made appearances in several Kannada movies, Simba has also made his active presence in Television advertisements and dog shows conducted by several popular clubs in Bangalore. Simba was selected for playing the character Natasha’s pet in ‘Bangalore Days’ when he was just one year old.
Apart from ‘Bangalore Days’, Simba has also appeared in the Kannada films ‘Shivaji Surathkal’, ‘Naanu Matthu Gunda’, ‘Gultoo’, and ‘Wajid’. The ‘Naanu Matthu Gunda’ actor Shivaraj KR’ took to his official Instagram handle to share a tribute note for the loss of Simba.
