While fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj to hit the screens on June 3, there are a lot more waiting for the Ulaganayagan to resume the shooting of director Shankar’s ‘Indian 2’ soon. The film is a sequel to his 1996 hit film ‘Indian’, which was also directed by Shankar.
One of the most taked about thing about ‘Indian’ was Kamal Haasan’s make up as an old man, the person behind that was American make-up artist Michael Westmore. Interestingly, Kamal Haasan was even trained by the Academy Award-winning make-up artist and he had spent over 30 days, working as an assistant to Michael Westmore, on the set of Star Trek. The two had been very close ever since and Michael Westmore’s daugther McKenzie Westmore, who is an actress and singer, had now said that Kamal Haasan is one of her favorite person and that he is part of her family.
Sharing an old picture of herself with Kamal Haasan, McKenzie Westmore posted, “One of my favorite people and part of our family.” (sic)
