Shah Rukh Khan announces Jan 2023 release for ‘Pathaan’; fans say ‘the King is back’

Bollywood Badshah, Shah Rukh Khan dropped a major surprise on his fans as he officially announced the release date of his highly anticipated film ‘Pathaan’.
Joined by co-stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, the actor shared a video announcing that the action film has been locked and loaded for a January 25, 2023 release.
“I know it’s late… But remember the date… Pathaan time starts now… See you in cinemas on 25th January 2023,” SRK wrote as he booked his movie date with his fans.
The news was warmly welcomed by fans who took to their handles to share their excitement about the film and the return of their King.
“The King is back,” echoed on Twitter as fans shared screenshots of the announcement teaser.
Others couldn’t wait for 2023 and said, “Pathaan era begins!”
The film will be released in three languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The spy thriller that is directed by Siddharth Anand, marks SRK’s comeback to the big screen after ‘Zero’ which was released in 2018.
Interestingly, its release comes just a day after Prabhas announced that his film ‘Adipurush’ will release worldwide on 12 January 2023.
