Must read

She might have made an entry in Bollywood with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania in 2017, but didn’t limit the actor to just the Hindi film industry. Soon, she took up Telugu, Kannada and Tamil projects that saw her in interesting characters.
Last seen in Ajay Devgn starrer Runway 34 that also featured actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh, Aakanksha says that unlike other actors, she would rather not only focus upon working in only one industry, but explore other industries too. She says, “I am an actor and I believe in performing in different languages. There are so many people that had different offerings in different languages for me. So, why would I skip these lovely opportunities? I want to do good work and if I am getting it in different languages then why let go of it? I like it when people appreciate me and say things like you do good stories and good roles.”
It’s been 10 years that Aakanksha has been working in show biz. She started in 2012 with the television show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha. She says, “I don’t feel like it has been 10 years already. When I sit and look back today, I am just happy with my growth as an actor. I believe in the saying – slow and steady wins the race. And so I follow that. I look forward to do meatier and good roles. I look for more opportunities to be on screen more often now.”
