Shanvi Srivastava to play a pivotal role in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vikram’

Kamal Haasan’s next ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is scheduled to release on June 3. ‘Vikram’ is one of the most anticipated upcoming films from Tamil in 2022.
Reportedly, Kannada actress Shanvi Srivastava is said to play the leading lady in the film alongside Kamal in his flashback story. It is stated that the actress’ scenes in the film appear for nearly 10 minutes. Speculation is rife that Vijay Sethupathi also has a flashback story in the film.
The film also features Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles. The music for the movie is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. It was earlier reported that the film will have parts in which actor Kamal Haasan will appear as a 30-year-old for the flashback story. According to reports, the moviemakers had spent over Rs. 10 crore on the technology used in Hollywood films to make the actor look younger.
The shooting for the film began in 2021 and was wrapped up in March and the film is under post-production now. It is expected that the trailer of the film will be released soon. ‘Vikram’ being one of the high-budget movies released its title teaser last year and it piqued a lot of interest from the audience. To maintain the same excitement with the release of the film, the movie is being promoted on full scale with its teaser and advertisement promotions on EMU trains. Reportedly, trains in Tamil Nadu now run with posters from ‘Vikram’ which gives a small glimpse of the movie.
